This private full-day tour lets you explore the miracle of Crete's agriculture. We hop on to private organic farms and our farmer explains to us the olive oil varieties and the organic fruits that thrive on Crete! After our alternative and ecotourism tour guiding, we try to find -possibly - the oldest Olive tree in the Mediterranean, a spot that only a few know and is kept secret, out of the tourist traffic. As we stand in awe at the oldest olive tree that still bears fruits, we visit two olive oil factories, a medieval one and a modern one, in order to understand the mechanical methods for olive oil extraction through the ages.
