Orange Picking Winter Tour in Chania
What you'll do
This Private Full Day Tour is all about Agrotourism and Ecotourism activities in Chania. Our professional farmer takes us with his pickup truck to visit an organic Avocado- Orange - Grape Fruit Farm for fruit harvesting.
He explains to us the various cultivating methods, as we start collecting (and tasting!) the various organic fruit varieties that thrive in Chania, Crete.
After the tedious process, we visit a fruit processing facility for a special tour of how organic fruits are being packaged, and distributed, before visiting a traditional Cretan Tavern owned by shepherds, to eat our lunch on whatever was available on their farm's harvest on that day!
